course

The Bílý potok rises between Kaliště and Shon in the southeastern foothills of the Písecké hory ( Pisek Mountains ). Its source is at the eastern foot of the Kometa (593 m). The stream initially flows south past Kaliště and Rozovy. West of Temelín it is bridged by the Číčenice – Týn nad Vltavou railway line. Passing Planovy, the Bílý potok reaches Lhota pod Horami, where it is dammed in the Dolní Lhotský rybník pond. In Sedlec branches off from Bílý brook left the stream Sedlecký creek from the parallel to the brook Bílý runs, the ponds Cihelna and Pustý rybník flows and thereafter again with the brook Bílý combined. The Bílý potok then flows through the Malešický rybník pond and past Malešice into the Blatská pánev ( Blata Basin ).

Between Chvalešovice and Bílá Hůrka the brook is dammed in the Bělohůrecký rybník fish pond. Then the Bílý potok flows through Strachovice and east of the ponds Horní Strachovický rybník and Dolní Strachovický rybník, which are fed with its water via ditches. To the southwest of Záblatí, part of its water is discharged into a system of ditches on both sides at the Blatec and Jubilejní rybník ponds. The stream then changes its direction to the northwest and flows past Záblatíčko and Radomilice. The České Budějovice – Plzeň railway crosses the stream at Klůs . Then the Radomilický potok near Strpí is dammed in the Strpský rybník, Skornice and Mlýnský rybník ponds. The railway line Číčenice – Haidmühle crosses the stream below the latter pond . Past Vodňany , Číčenice , Čavyně and Zlouň, the Radomilický potok takes a northerly direction on its lower course. After 21.3 kilometers, the Radomilický potok flows into the Blanice opposite Milenovice .

The wetland along the stream between Radomilice and Klůs is protected as a nature reserve Radomilická mokřina . From Dubenec the railway line České Budějovice – Plzeň runs downstream along the stream. The Radomilický potok has been straightened and canalized almost along its entire course.
