The Bezdrevský potok , also Netolický potok or Soudný potok (German Bestrewer Graben , in sections also Straskabach , Brusner Bach , Nettolitzbach , Poderischtbach , Mühlbach , Altbach or Saudny-Bach ) is a left tributary of the Vltava in the Czech Republic .

course

The Netolický potok rises in the protected landscape area Blanský les northwest of the single-layer farm Špatenka ( Spatenka ), one kilometer north of Kuklov ( Kugelweid ). Its source is located between the Vlčí Kopec ( Wolfberg , 752 m nm) and Šibeník (787 m nm) mountains . On its upper course leading to the north, the brook initially forms the border between the Blanský les and the Libínská hornatina ( Libin Mountains ); on this section the Netolický potok flows past Smědeček ( Klein Zmietsch ), Třešňový Újezdec ( Wagner ), Vodice ( Woditz ), Šilnar, Lhenice , Nový Dvůr ( Neuhof ), Brusná, U Jonátů, U Rolencůner Mühle ( Brusenský Mühle ) , Hrbov ( Herbes ), Ovčín ( Bartelhof ), Grejnarov ( Greinerhof ), Lužice , Bašta, Podroužský Mlýn and Peklo in the Netolická pahorkatina ( Nettolitzer hill country ). Here he feeds the pond Mnich. Its further course leads via Na Bahnech, Na Horáku through the town of Netolice . From the settlement U MAXU the creek flowing to the northeast of triumph, Třetina, Olšovice , Podeřiště ( Poderischt ) Poděhusy, Hláska ( Hlaska ) passing through the land Zbudovská Blata the Budweiser basin . Here the brook Soudný potok ( Saudny brook or Altbach ) is called. Lékařova Lhota, Hlavatce , Sedlec , Sedlecký Dvůr and Novosedly ( Neusattel ) lie on its further course, which now leads to the east .

At Zbudov ( Zbudau ) the direction of the stream changes to the southeast. The Soudný potok flows past Mydlovary , Překážka and U Vomáčků ( Womackahof ) to Zliv , where it feeds the large fish ponds Zlivský rybník and Bezdrev ( Bestrewer pond ). The places Munice ( Munitz ), Pašice ( Paschitz ), Pištín , Češnovice ( Tscheschnowitz ), Zálužice ( Saluschitz ), Dasný and Vondrov ( Wondrow ) lie above its flooded valley basin . At Bezdrevská Bašta the brook leaves the third largest pond in the Czech Republic, the Bezdrev. Below that, the last three kilometers of the stream is called Bezdrevský potok . Its lower course leads past the Ohrada hunting lodge , Sudárna, the Hluboká nad Vltavou railway station and Bavorovice. After 44 kilometers, the Bezdrevský potok flows into the Vltava north of Bavorovice .

The Bezdrevský potok is regulated and straightened for most of its course. To the northwest of Zliv, the marshland on both sides of the stream was placed under protection as the PR Mokřiny u Vomáčků nature reserve ; it is one of the surviving swamps in the otherwise by amelioration drained Zbudovská Blata. The adjacent courtyard at U Vomáčků serves as a station for the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice .

The Dívčice – Netolice railway runs along the stream between Netolice and Triumpf . The railway line České Budějovice – Plzeň follows its course from Zbudov to Hluboká nad Vltavou station ; the railway bridges the brook to the southeast of the station.

history

Originally the Bílý potok also directed its water into the Bezdrevský potok. As a result of the extensive stream regulations in the Blata, the 15 kilometer long Bílý potok and a catchment area of 111.4 km² are considered the upper reaches of the Radomilický potok . Today a ditch leads from the Bílý potok at the Blatec pond to the Černá pond near Dubenec. The water is then fed back to the Bezdrevský potok via the Jamský potok and the Olešník near Zbudov.

At Lékařova Lhota there is a historic stone arch bridge over the stream.
