Rafał Boguski (born June 9, 1984 in Ostrołęka , Poland ) is a Polish football player .

Club career

The 1.73 m tall and 70 kg heavy midfielder began his professional career with the second division club ŁKS Łomża , where he already went through the youth departments and played in the fourth and third leagues. In 2006 he was signed by Wisła Kraków . However, he played only two games for Kraków before he was loaned to league rivals GKS Bełchatów . Here he was able to convince with very strong performances and returned to Wisła Krakow after the season. Since then he has been able to celebrate the championship three times with the club .

National team

In the Polish national team he made his debut on December 15, 2007 against Bosnia and Herzegovina . On April 1, 2009, Boguski scored the 1-0 after just 23 seconds in the World Cup qualifier against San Marino . It is the fastest goal that a player has ever scored for Poland . Boguski played his last international game on April 1, 2009 in the qualifying game for the 2010 World Cup against San Marino , when he was able to score two goals himself. The last time the striker was in the Polish squad was on August 11, 2010 in a friendly against Cameroon .
