Maciej Sadlok (born June 29, 1989 in Oświęcim , Poland ) is a Polish football player .
Career in the club
Sadlok began his career at his hometown club Pasjonat Dankowice before joining the first division and traditional club Ruch Chorzów during the 2006/07 winter break . With the club, the midfielder made it to the Ekstraklasa in 2007 and played his first first division games in the following season. In the 2008/09 season , Sadlok played 17 games and was an integral part of the first team. In the 2009/10 season he took part in 29 out of 30 possible games for Chorzów. During the winter break of the 2010/11 season he moved to league rivals Polonia Warsaw after another 14 games and his first goal in the Ekstraklasa in winter . He played 31 league games for Polonia in two seasons before returning to Ruch Chorzów for the 2012/13 season . Since 2014 Sadlok has been under contract with the 13-time Polish champion Wisła Krakow .
Career in the national team
Maciej Sadlok made his debut on November 14, 2009 in a friendly against Romania (0: 1) in Warsaw in the Polish national football team . He played 15 international matches and was one of the favorite players of then national coach Franciszek Smuda . However, he was not appointed to the Polish squad for the 2012 European Championship .
