Vullnet Xhevat Basha (born July 11, 1990 ) is a Swiss - Albanian football player who has been under contract with the Polish first division club Wisła Krakau since the 2017/18 season .

Career

Vullnet received a three-year contract with Grasshopper Club Zurich in 2009 , before that, the midfielder had worked for three years as a professional with second division club FC Lausanne-Sport . In the summer of 2011, however, he moved to Neuchâtel Xamax , where he signed a two-year contract. However, this already lost its validity in January 2012 after Xamax's license had initially been withdrawn and the club filed for bankruptcy a little later. Basha then moved to FC Sion, as did his team-mate Sébastien Wüthrich . For the 2017/18 season he was signed by the Polish first division club Wisła Krakau .

National team

Between 2008 and 2011, he played a total of 15 international matches for the Swiss youth national teams in the U-19 and U-20 age groups , scoring three goals. For the senior national team of Albania , he made his debut on August 14, 2013 in Tirana in a 2-0 win in the friendly against the selection of Armenia with a substitution for Amir Abrashi in the 76th minute.
