Rafael Eleuterio Rey

Rafael Eleuterio Rey (born April 18, 1933 in Maipú , Departamento Maipú ) is an Argentine clergyman and former bishop of Zárate-Campana .

Life

Rafael Eleuterio Rey was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Mendoza on December 20, 1958 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Mendoza and titular bishop of Hilta on April 30, 1983 . The Archbishop of Mendoza, Cándido Genaro Rubiolo , donated him episcopal ordination on July 3 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Carlos González Cruchaga , Bishop of Talca , and León Kruk , Bishop of San Rafael .

On December 18, 1991, he was appointed Bishop of Zárate-Campana , and on March 21, the following year, he was instituted. He resigned from his office on February 3, 2006.
