Rafael Iglesias (born May 25, 1924 in Avellaneda , † January 1, 1999 in San Juan ) was an Argentine boxer .

Iglesias won the heavyweight gold medal at the 1948 Olympic Games in London by beating Sweden's Gunnar Nilsson in the final .

His foray into professional business was very short. He lost his only professional fight on January 24, 1952 in San Francisco against the American Bob Dunlap by knockout in the third round.
