Rafael Valdivieso Miranda

Rafael Valdivieso Miranda (born March 18, 1968 in David , Panama ) is a Panamanian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Chitré .

Life

Ordained a priest on December 16, 1995, Rafael Valdivieso Miranda studied moral theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University . He was initially a chaplain in the Santo Tomas Hospital in Santa Ana, where he was later vicar.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Chitré on April 25, 2013 . He was ordained bishop on July 6, 2013, by the Apostolic Nuncio in Panama, Archbishop Andrés Carrascosa Coso ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Panama , José Domingo Ulloa Mendieta OSA , and Valdivieso Miranda's predecessor Fernando Torres Durán .
