Reviews
“(...) for the masterful camera work and the visionary color and tone design as well as for the successful examination of the topics of love, desire and sexuality. The ancient mythological framework was skillfully contrasted with modern urbanity. "
“That Hernández can mix world mythologies with homoeroticism and not seem remotely pretentious is something of a miracle. (...) Lensing by Alejandro Cantu is breathtaking, beautifully framed and gracefully describing space with a seductive blend of closeups and fluid camerawork. "
"Julian Hernandez returns to Outfest with this audacious portrait of passion in a metropolis. (...) Hitting new heights of allegory and experimentation, Hernandez remains an indispensable voice in queer cinema. "
"In his three-hour ode to the power of love, Julián Hernández combines enchantingly beautiful images with a free narrative form."
