Raiffeisenbank Bühlertal eG is a universal bank and was founded in 1881. A total of four independent banks were involved in the history of the bank. Vellberger Bank eG, Raiffeisenbank Bühlertann eG, Raiffeisenbank Bühlerzell eG and Raiffeisenbank Großaltdorf eG.

Raiffeisenbank Bühlerzell eG

The Raiffeisenbank Bühlerzell eG was founded on February 6, 1889 as a "Loan Association". In 1961 it was decided to build a new warehouse with office space and in the same year the company was changed to "Genossenschaftsbank". In 1980, the rapid development of the bank made it necessary to remodel the business premises. The business premises were redesigned and a Raiffeisen store was built in the warehouse. In 1982 the company was renamed "Raiffeisenbank". The last construction activity was a loose fertilizer warehouse with floor scales in order to adapt to the development of fertilizer sales. In 1989 the 100th anniversary was celebrated.

Raiffeisenbank Bühlertann eG

Raiffeisenbank Bühlertann eG was founded on November 17, 1889 as a "Loan Association". In 1934 the name was changed to “Spar- und Kreditkasse Bühlertann” and the movement of goods was introduced. In 1955 it was renamed “Genossenschaftsbank”. Another milestone was the construction of our own bank building at Mühlstrasse 14. The name was changed to “Raiffeisenbank” in 1977. In 1978 a plot of land was acquired on Hauptstrasse. On September 24, 1982, a modern bank building with a house and garden market, which was beautifully integrated into the local conditions, was inaugurated. In 1989 the 100th anniversary was celebrated.

Raiffeisenbank Oberes Bühlertal eG

In 1993 the Raiffeisenbank Bühlerzell eG merged with the Raiffeisenbank Bühlertann eG to form the Raiffeisenbank Oberes Bühlertal eG based in Bühlertann. The bank had branches with the main office in Bühlertann, the branch in Bühlerzell and the paying offices in Bühlertann-Kottspiel and Bühlertann-Fronrot. Raiffeisenbank Oberes Bühlertal eG was a universal bank with a Raiffeisen market including loose fertilizer storage in Bühlerzell. In 1994 the main office in Bühlertann was renovated and rebuilt. In the course of this, the then house and garden center in Bühlertann in the bank building was converted into executive offices and a secretariat. In 1997 the office in Bühlerzell was renovated and rebuilt.

Vellberger Bank eG

The Vellberger Bank eG was founded on June 19, 1881 as the “Vellberger Loan Association”. This cooperative, which applied for membership in the Association of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives in Württemberg in 1883, is one of the founding cooperatives of the Württemberg Cooperative Association. A newly created Reich law in 1935 resulted in a reduction in the number of board members and the change of name to a registered cooperative with unlimited liability. In 1959, changes to the articles of association were resolved, among other things from this point in time the bank was renamed "Genossenschaftsbank Vellberg eGmbH". A year later, in 1960, the time had come. The general assembly approved the construction of the long-planned cooperative building on the current site, on which it could be built and inaugurated within a year. Once again the bank gave itself a new name. In 1969 the general assembly decided to rename the Genoba "Vellberger Bank eGmbH". In 1981 the 100th anniversary was celebrated.

Raiffeisenbank Großaltdorf eG

Raiffeisenbank Großaltdorf eG was founded as a loan association on May 10, 1902. In 1935 the company name was changed to "Savings and Loan Fund". In 1952 the 50th anniversary of Sparda Großaltdorf took place with a ceremony and a lecture about the life and work of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen. At the 1955 general assembly, the name was changed to “Genossenschaftsbank Großaltdorf”. As early as 1968, the company was renamed “Raiffeisenbank Großaltdorf”. In 1977 the 75th anniversary of the bank was celebrated with a “big colorful evening” and a children's afternoon. 1982 Removal of the full glazing and installation of a cash box. Transfer of the goods business in Großaltdorf to what was then VELAG eG, Schwäbisch Hall on January 1st, 1988. In the mid-1990s, counters were modernized again with dismantling of the cash box to open counters.

Raiffeisenbank Vellberg-Großaltdorf eG

In 1989 the Raiffeisenbank Großaltdorf eG merged with the Vellberger Bank eG to form the Raiffeisenbank Vellberg-Großaltdorf eG, based in Vellberg. In 1990 it was decided to give up the goods store in Vellberg. The branch in Talheim was closed on November 17, 1995, and the branch in Oberaspach in 2001. In 1997/1998 the main branch in Vellberg was expanded and the warehouse was torn down and new bank rooms were built. In 2006 the 125th anniversary was celebrated. In 2010 the counter area was redesigned.

Raiffeisenbank Bühlertal eG

In 2013 the Raiffeisenbank Oberes Bühlertal eG merged with the Raiffeisenbank Vellberg-Großaltdorf eG to form today's Raiffeisenbank Bühlertal eG, based in Vellberg. Since then, the bank has had branches with the main office in Vellberg and branches in Bühlertann, Bühlerzell and Vellberg-Großaltdorf.
