The foundation stone for Raiffeisenbank Bad Abbach-Saal eG was laid on April 23, 1911 by 23 citizens from Abbach and the surrounding area. In 1965 the merger with the Raiffeisenkasse Saal ad Donau took place and in 1967 the merger with the Raiffeisenkasse in Essing . Raiffeisenbank Herrnwahlthann / Teugn -Dünzling eG was founded as another independent cooperative bank on November 30, 1911 by 51 citizens from Herrnwahlthann and the surrounding area. In 2007 the Raiffeisenbank Bad Abbach-Saal eG and the Raiffeisenbank Herrnwahlthann / Teugn-Dünzling eG merged. In 2018 the Raiffeisenbank Bad Gögging merged with the Raiffeisenbank Bad Abbach-Saal. Since then the bank has been called Raiffeisenbank Kreis Kelheim eG .
