The Raiffeisen Bank in Calw eG is a regional German cooperative bank headquartered in Neubulach in the Black Forest. The business area extends along the Nagold from Ebhausen to Calw . The bank is one of the smallest credit institutions in Baden-Württemberg .

history

In 1892 the first savings and loan associations, initiated by banker Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen, were founded in the business area . The investment and lending business developed from the originally strongly agricultural activity. On June 19, 1965, Raiffeisenbank Calw eGmbH was re-established by merging the savings and loan funds Alzenberg (taking over cooperative), Liebelsberg, Oberkollbach, Sommenhardt and Würzbach. On June 21, 1969 the merger with the savings and loan funds Agenbach, Breitenberg, Neuweiler, Zavelstein and Zwerenberg took place. Raiffeisenbank Neubulach eGmbH was created through the merger of the Martinsmoos and Oberhaugstett savings and loan funds with Sparda Neubulach on June 26, 1967. The merger of Raiffeisenbank Calw eGmbH and Raiffeisenbank Neubulach eGmbH on December 8, 1978 resulted in a bank with total assets of DM 41 million . The headquarters were relocated to Neubulach. On January 1, 1999, the merger with Raiffeisenbank Altburg eG to Raiffeisenbank Calw eG took place.

In 2004 the Raiffeisenbank Calw eG and the Ebhauser Bank eG merged to form Raiffeisenbank in the district of Calw eG.

In addition to the main office in Neubulach, there are branches in Neuweiler , Ebhausen, Calw, Altburg , Kimmichwiesen, Oberkollbach , Würzbach, Zavelstein and Rohrdorf

The bank has 93 employees. Every year, four apprenticeships are filled in the training professions of bank clerk , financial assistant and in the Bachelor of Arts course - specializing in business administration / banking.
