Raimund Erbel

Raimund Erbel (born March 9, 1948 in Baesweiler ) is a German cardiologist . From 1993 to 2015 he was professor and director of the Clinic for Cardiology at the University Hospital Essen .

school

From 1954 to 1959 Erbel attended elementary school in Baesweiler. From 1959 to 1967 he went to the high school in Alsdorf , where he also passed the Abitur.

Studies, medical assistant time and doctorate

From 1967 to 1973 Erbel studied medicine at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf and the University of Cologne . 1973 to 1974 Erbel worked as a medical assistant in the internal and surgical department of the St. Josef Hospital in Leverkusen.
