tango

Since 1992 Sartori has been working as a tango teacher and show dancer, since 1994 as an organizer, film and television choreographer, including for UFA film production , and he is one of the pioneers of the tango scene in Munich. He developed his own system of dance bodywork. This was followed in 1994 by founding his own tango school and teaching actors at the Bavarian Theater Academy of the Prinzregententheater . From 1997 to 1999 Sartori led seminars in Schloss Elmau . His main work Tango, the unifying force of dancing Eros , which he wrote together with the music philosopher Petra Steidl , appeared in several languages.

Ralf Sartori has been the publisher and editor of a book series on the subject of Tango at Allitera Verlag in Munich since 2014 . Since 2013, Sartori has also been the curator and organizer of a tango film series.

Nymphenspiegel Kulturforum

Sartori is the initiator and organizer of the Nymphenspiegel Kulturforum (2005) and editor of the associated book series Nymphenspiegel . The starting point is the Arabic proverb “A book is a garden that you can carry in your pocket”. The Nymphenspiegel takes up this idea - as a literary-horticultural composition that is divided into the fields of poetry , prose and history . The book series “Nymphenspiegel” appears annually with another volume. This publication reflects a topic such as the Nymphenburg Palace Park in articles by changing authors who draw literary inspiration from personal relationships with the subject. The Nymphenspiegel is flanked by regular literature salons, concerts and themed tours .

Forum Neue Isar

Together with the biologist Nico Döring , Sartori founded the Forum Neue Isar in October 2010 , which is dedicated to questions of renaturation projects on the Isar , such as the Munich Isar Plan , and increased citizen participation in municipal projects.

Photo art

Ralf Sartori has been working as a professional photographer since 2003. In addition, he leads photographic excursions, sometimes based on art therapy and self-awareness. With his mobile photo laboratory for applied poetry , he has been increasingly addressing important local issues since 2020, which he has already focused on in his previous work. These include Nymphenburg Palace and its park , the Isar , the English Garden and the park of Schleissheim Palace . In the Fünfseenland , Sartori's focus is between Herrsching and Dießen as well as Starnberg , Feldafing and Tutzing with Seeshaupt and the small town of Steinebach am Wörthsee .
