Ralf Tonnätt

Ralf Tonnätt (born April 24, 1931 in Hamburg ; † January 9, 2015 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Ralf Tonnätt attended high school and started a commercial apprenticeship in 1948. From 1951 he worked as an accountant for various Hamburg companies and joined the SPD in 1957. In 1958 he did internships in homes of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) and studied a year later at the seminar for social professions of the AWO in Mannheim . After an internship at the Duisburg youth welfare office , Tonnätt became the manager of a workers' dormitory of the AWO in Osnabrück in 1962 . In 1963 he became a social worker and from 1967 worked in the Berlin district office of Kreuzberg .

In the same year, Tonnätt was elected to the district assembly in the Kreuzberg district in the Berlin election in 1967 , but moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives in May 1967 , as Hans Kohlberger was elected to the district councilor in Kreuzberg. After the end of the legislative period in 1971, Tonnätt left parliament.
