Raman Jaljotnau ( Belarusian Раман Ялётнаў ; English Raman Yaliotnau ; born May 10, 1993 in Tschawussy ) is a Belarusian biathlete .

Career

Raman Jaljotnau contested his first international races at the Biathlon Junior World Championships in 2012 and 2013 . In 2012 in Kontiolahti he achieved his best result in the top ten with seventh place, a year later in Obertilliach he was 27th place in the pursuit. Also at the Biathlon European Championships in 2013 in Bansko a 14th place in the individual was the best result, in 2013 he reached the sixth place in the individual in Nové Město na Moravě and won the title in the sprint. In the pursuit race he dropped back to 21st place after twelve shooting errors.

In 2012 Jaljotnau made his debut at the IBU Cup in Altenberg , where he was 75th of the individual. In 2014 , when he was 39th, he won points for the first time in a sprint in Ridanna . The Belarusian achieved his best result to date at the start of the 2014/15 season as the 30th of a sprint in Beitostølen . For the relay race of the European Championships in 2014, he was appointed to the selection of Belarus. Jaljotnau took sixth place alongside Aljaksej Abromchyk , Maksim Ramanouski and Dzmitryi Abascheu .
