The Rance is a river in France that runs in the Cantal department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Marcolès and Sansac-Veinazès , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and after 36 kilometers flows into the Célé as a right tributary in the municipality of Maurs .
