Raoul Hyman
Raoul Hyman (born May 12, 1996 ) is a South African racing car driver . He started in the European Formula 3 championship in 2015 and 2016 . In 2017 he competes in the GP3 series .
Career
Hyman began his motorsport career in karting in 2009 , where he remained active until 2012. In 2013 he switched to formula racing and competed for HHC Motorsport in the BRDC F4 Championship . With a second place as the best result and a total of four podium finishes, he finished the season in seventh place overall. In 2014, Hyman stayed in the BRDC F4 Championship. He won four races and achieved a total of eleven podium finishes. As the best driver in his racing team, he improved to third place in the drivers' standings.
In 2015 , Hyman moved to the West-Tec F3 team in the European Formula 3 championship . He finished the season in 21st place overall. For the 2016 European Formula 3 Championship , Hyman received a cockpit for the season opener at Carlin . He did not participate in any further championship races.
In 2017 Hyman started in the GP3 series for Campos Racing .
