Raphael Grosch

Raphael Christoph Grosch (born April 4, 1978 in Eupen ) is a Belgian actor . He comes from the German-speaking Community of Belgium . He became known as Christian Friesinger in the RTL series Everything that counts . Since 2015 he has played the main role Oskar Matzerath in Die Blechtrommel (based on the novel by Günter Grass ) at the Alten Schauspielhaus in Stuttgart and for the Landgraf concert directorate. In October 2016 "The Tin Drum" received the INTHEGA Prize.

Life

Raphael Grosch grew up in Eupen, Belgium and moved to Cologne to study acting . After graduating from the Cologne Theater Academy (2006) he played a. a. in the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , at the Landesbühne Rheinland-Pfalz and for the touring theater Eurostudio Landgraf.

The role of Christian Friesinger in the RTL series Everything that counts was his first major television role.

In November 2010 he was awarded the Karl Heinz Walther Prize for the best young actor of the last season at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen.

Since November 2011, Raphael Grosch has been employed at the theater in Stuttgart, where he a. a. can be seen on the stage in the productions “Feelgood”, “The Andalusian Miracle”, “The Cactus Blossom” and The Merchant of Venice . In 2013 he even had the pleasure of playing the piece “In every relationship” with Jochen Busse and Claudia Rieschel in Stuttgart.

Parallel to his Stuttgart engagement, he played an episode role in the SAT1 series Danni Lowinski at the side of Annette Frier in the episode "Herzenssache". In 2014 he stood next to Christian Berkel for ZDF for a Terra X episode (masterpieces) as Graham Smith in front of the camera.
