Rasmus Borkowski

Rasmus Borkowski (born October 11, 1980 in Lübeck ) is a German actor.

Life

Rasmus Borkowski has been on stage since he was 14. He got his first role in " Pippi Longstocking " as "Tommi", performed on the Lübeck open-air theater . Other smaller roles followed. During his training in the diploma course at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding , he won first prize in the federal singing competition in Berlin in 2003 and the special prize of the Franz Grothe Foundation. The training at the Bavarian Theater Academy did not lead to a degree. In 2004 Borkowski got the main role of "Jojo" in the Schalke musical "04 - nobody can get past God". In 2005/2006 he was seen as " Mercutio " and "Romeo" in "Romeo & Juliet" at the Raimund Theater in Vienna . He was equally successful in the alternating role of the young nobleman d'Artagnan in the musical 3 Musketeers at the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart, which he played from November 2006 to January 2008. From March 2008 to spring 2009 Rasmus Borkowski was seen as Link Larkin in the musical Hairspray (German-language premiere) at the St. Gallen Theater . This was followed by engagements at the Bregenz Festival and in the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna. ("The Blue Angel", " A Month in the Country " and "Three Sisters"). In June and July 2011, Borkowski played the role of Joe Gilles in Sunset Boulevard at the Bad Hersfeld Festival . From March 2011 to February 2012 he was seen again in the Theater in der Josefstadt, this time as Erich in Tales from the Vienna Woods . In 2013 Borkowski played the episode role of Aldo in the RTL series Doc meets Dorf . From October 2013 to February 2014 he was in the European premiere of the musical Catch Me If You Can in the title role of Frank W. Abagnale jr. seen in the Wiener Kammerspiele . Last Borkwoski played a guest role ( flea market Standler ) in the Disney Channel telecast Binny and the spirit .
