Rasoul Khadem Azghadi ( Persian رسول خادم, Born February 17, 1972 in Mashhad ) is a former Iranian wrestler and current politician .

Rasoul Khadem and his brother Amir Reza Khadem were trained by their father Mohammad Khadem . At the 1992 Olympic Games , he won the bronze medal in the men's 82 kg freestyle. Four years later in Atlanta he won the gold medal in the men's 90 kg freestyle, after having been world champion in this discipline in 1994 and 1995. His last major success was a silver medal at the World Wrestling Championships in 1998 in Tehran .

Rasul Khadem has been a member of the Tehran City Council since 2003 and is attributed to the political camp of Mayor Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf . In September 2014 he was inducted into the FILA International Wrestling Hall of Fame for his services to wrestling .
