Raunergrund is a district of the municipality of Bad Brambach in the Upper Vogtland . The district, which consists of a few houses, extends along federal road 92 in the valley level of the Rauner Bach .
description
Raunergrund is an agricultural and forestry region of the Bad Brambach community. The Obere and Untere Raunmühle and some residential buildings are located here. The Rauner Bach flows through the valley from the south and from the north.
The Raunerbachtal forms a common FFH area with the adjacent valley areas of the Haarbach in the direction of the Landwüst .
history
Various historical place names have been documented for Raunergrund: 1791 Raunergrund and Römergrund and 1875 only Raunergrund . Raunergrund was an independent rural community in the 19th century, which was incorporated into Raun in 1883 . Raun has been part of Bad Brambach since 1994.
Due to the traffic route laid out in the 19th century (today the federal highway ), a street inn was built for the wagons and other travelers at the junction to Raun, the Felsenkeller inn.
traffic
The district of Raunergrund is on the federal road 92. This traffic route between Adorf and Eger ( Cheb ) was only created when the old electoral imperial and post road via Schönlind , Landwüst , Rohrbach , Fleißen and Wildstein could no longer correspond to the traffic that grew in the 19th century .
