The Ravet is a river in France that runs in the Grand Est (formerly Champagne-Ardenne ) region. It rises in the district of Labraux in the municipality of Chavanges in the Aube department , flows mainly in a west-southwest direction through the dry Champagne ( French: Champagne sèche or Champagne crayeuse ) and flows into the Aube after around 16 kilometers on the border of the municipalities of Magnicourt and Brillecourt as a right tributary . The Ravet is called Grand Ravet in its upper reaches to the municipality of Braux , in Braux the Petit Ravet flows from the left .
