Raymond Jean Bru (born March 30, 1906 , † December 1989 ) was a Belgian foil fencer .

successes

Raymond Bru was vice world champion with the team in Naples in 1929 and also won bronze with her in 1930 in Liège . He took part in the Olympic Games three times : in 1928 in Amsterdam and 1936 in Berlin , he was sixth in the individual. With the team he just missed a medal win in 1928 in fourth place, in 1936 he was fifth with her. At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , he moved into the final round with the Belgian team, which he finished with a bronze medal with Georges de Bourguignon , Henri Paternóster , Paul Valcke , André van de Werve de Vorsselaer and Édouard Yves behind France and Italy . He was also part of the Degen team, with whom he was fifth.
