Raymond Gaston Joseph Séguy (born December 8, 1929 in Rieupeyroux ) is a French clergyman and Roman Catholic former bishop of Autun .

Life

Raymond Gaston Joseph Séguy was ordained a priest on September 18, 1954 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Gap on October 14, 1981 . The Bishop of Rodez , Roger Joseph Bourrat , donated him episcopal ordination on November 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Bernard Panafieu , Archbishop of Aix and Robert-Joseph Coffy , Archbishop of Albi .

On July 31, 1987, he was appointed Bishop of Autun. On April 8, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
