Rebecca Warren
Rebecca Warren (* 21st March 1965 in London ) is a British contemporary artist of painting and sculpture . She is particularly known for her work in clay and bronze and her arranged display cases.
Life
Rebecca Warren studied at Goldsmith College from 1989 to 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree . From 1993 to 1994 studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art at Oxford University and the Chelsea College of Art and Design with a Master of Fine Arts degree .
In 2006 Rebecca Warren was nominated for the Turner Prize for her sculptural installations . In 2008 she received the Vincent Award for Contemporary Art in Europe from the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam .
In 2014 she was appointed professor for “Free Art” at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . In March 2014 she received RA membership (Royal Academician) of the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
