The Reformed Church in Duvin at the entrance to Val Lumnezia is a Protestant - Reformed church under the monument of the canton of Grisons .

history

In the High Middle Ages, the Duvin Church was attached to the mother church in Pleif ( Vella ) as a chaplain and was under the patronage of Mary . In 1526 Duvin accepted the Reformation and became an independent parish. In 1538 it was ransomed from the sovereign rights of the Chur bishop . From 1882 to the 21st century, Duvin formed a pastoral community with Riein and Pitasch . After that, the village was pastorized from Sagogn for a short time and is currently (as of 2013) an independent parish, which is looked after by an external pastor on a small part-time basis.

Furnishing

The steeple is characterized by an onion dome , while the nave is covered by a hipped roof. The interior of the church is covered by a wooden barrel vault . In the center of the choir is the baptismal font , which also functions as a communion table. The polygonal pulpit dispenses with a sound cover and closes the choir on the left.

Church organization
