Originally it belonged to the Reichenau monastery through an imperial donation , the Felsberg church came into the possession of the Churwalden monastery through exchange in 1305 .
The church, which has been under the patronage of the Apostle Thomas since 1491, was completely rebuilt in the late Gothic style in the pre-Reformation period in 1505 . After the Reformation was accepted, the building became a reformed preaching church .
Since 1526 the inhabitants of Obersays , a fraction of the Says settlement , became members of the Reformed Church of Felsberg. You entered the church through a separate entrance, the Saysertörli .
The pulpit between the nave and the choir with its distinctive sound cover dates back to 1686.
The year 1909 brought a separation of property between the political and the parish of Felsberg. In 1950/51 the church was completely renovated, with the nave being removed and a vaulted wooden ceiling and an organ installed. The west adjoining the facade steeple of geosteten church has three bells .
