The Val-de-Travers region has been one of the four regions of the canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland since January 1, 2018 and is used for statistical purposes and as electoral regions for the canton's grand council (French: Grand Conseil). It encompasses the area of ​​the Val de Travers , through which the Areuse flows, the Vallon des Verrières and the surrounding Jura mountains together. The region is geographically identical to the former Val-de-Travers district .
