Reichenbach is a district of Unterwellenborn in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

Reichenbach is located in a side valley of the Uhlstedter Heide and is surrounded by forest from the steeper slopes. The state road 1107 leads to the main road of the Waldhufendorf . In the east, Reichenbach borders on Langenschade .
history
Richenbach was first mentioned in 1279 . Wolfgang Kahl also confirms this . He determined March 10, 1278 as the first documentary mention of the village. The oldest parts of the church are of Romanesque origin. Reichenbach was derived from "rich water stream". The people live from forest and field work, hunting and fishing. On July 1, 1950, Reichenbach was incorporated into Langenschade.
