Reichenbrunn is a district of the Oberwürzbach district of the middle town of St. Ingbert in Saarland . The Würzbach (11.89 km long) rises near Reichenbrunn and flows into the Blies as a tributary on the right near the Blieskastel district of Lautzkirchen .
On July 1, 1936, Reichenbrunn (together with Sengscheid) was separated from Ensheim and incorporated into Oberwürzbach. As a district of the formerly independent municipality of Oberwürzbach, Reichenbrunn was incorporated into the city of Sankt Ingbert on February 1, 1974 as part of the regional and administrative reform in Saarland .
Until April 11, 2011, one of the oldest sequoias in Saarland stood in Reichenbrunn, which was felled due to an illness.
