Reinberg-Litschau is a place and a cadastral municipality of the municipality Eggern in the district of Gmünd in Lower Austria .
history
The scattered settlement Reinberg-Litschau alias dorff Kueffstein was raised in 1728 by Johann Anton I von Kuefstein into the walt Reinberg called von neue and stepped up. From 1734 the huts of Reinberg-Litschau are mentioned in the land register. The place belonged to the lordship of Litschau.
Settlement development
In 1751 Reinberg-Litschau counted 57 subordinate houses.
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 87 building areas with 33,509 m² and 28 gardens on 10,624 m² in the cadastral community Reinberg-Litschau, in 1989/1990 there were 101 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 248 and in 2009/2010 there were 123 buildings on 236 building areas.
Agriculture
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 415 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 30 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 399 hectares and 35 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 393 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 32 hectares. The average number of soil climates in Reinberg-Litschau is 19 (as of 2010).
