Reinhard Franz von und zu Brenken

Reinhard Franz Carl Dominik Freiherr von und zu Brenken (born November 8, 1818 at Erpernburg Castle ; † October 1, 1870 in Holthausen ) was an East Westphalian landowner, district administrator and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation , the Customs Parliament and the Prussian mansion .

Life

Reinhard von und zu Brenken was the son of Friedrich Carl von und zu Brenken from the Westphalian noble family von und zu Brenken and his first wife Theresia von Schade. He was a royal chamberlain , lived in the Holthausen monastery and was the owner of the Erpernburg castle and estate near Brenken in the Büren district from 1867 until his death . After attending the Theodorianum high school in Paderborn and studying law in Bonn , Munich and Berlin , he was an auscultator at the Paderborn Higher Regional Court and trainee lawyer with the government in Düsseldorf . From 1848 to 1870 he was district administrator for the Büren district . Since 1854 he belonged to the Prussian manor house. In 1865 he was chamberlain to Queen Augusta of Prussia .

He was a member of the Westphalian provincial parliament in 1852 as a representative of Prince zu Salm-Horstmar and from 1856 to 1868 for the constituency of Paderborn and the Prussian First Chamber in 1854. From 1867 until his death in 1870 Reinhard von und zu Brenken was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Minden 4 ( Paderborn , Büren ) and the Free Conservative Association . In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament from 1868.
