Reinhard Hohl
Reinhard Hohl (born April 29, 1893 in Rheineck ; † February 10, 1975 in Bern ; legal resident in Heiden ) was a Swiss lawyer and diplomat from the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden .
Life
Reinhard Hohl was a son of Reinhard Hohl. He was a brother of Gertrud Kurz . He was married to Clara-Henriette Hollubetz from Basel . He studied in Bern , Geneva and Zurich and obtained a doctorate in law . In 1919, Hohl joined the Federal Political Department (EPD), where from 1941 he worked as a specialist in matters relating to international transport . In 1945 he replaced Robert Kohli as head of the finance section of the Federal Political Department and as a member of the permanent delegation for business negotiations with foreign countries. This also included Jean Hotz and Heinrich Homberger . From 1948 to 1852 he was the Swiss minister in Prague . From 1952 to 1954 he was in Tokyo responsible for the resumption of diplomatic relations with Japan . From 1955 to 1958 he worked in the embassy in Vienna . From 1957 he was this ambassador .
