Reinhard Röttle

Reinhard Röttle (born January 20, 1965 in Regensburg ) is a German lawyer and has been attorney general in Munich since February 16, 2018 .

Life

After studying law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , Reinhard Röttle joined the Bavarian judicial service in 1993 and initially worked as a judge at the Munich District Court . After being employed as a public prosecutor in the Munich I Public Prosecutor's Office in a department for economic criminal matters , Röttle was seconded to the Federal Ministry of Justice in 1997 , where he was employed in a criminal law department. In 2000 he returned to the Bavarian capital as a judge at the Munich II regional court before he was appointed public prosecutor as a group leader at the Munich I public prosecutor's office in 2002.

In 2003 Röttle was appointed to the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice , where he headed various departments in the criminal law department. He was then appointed presiding judge at the Munich II regional court. In 2010 Röttle returned to the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice. Most recently, as ministerial director, he headed the personnel department there.
