Reinhard Staupe
Reinhard Staupe (born September 20, 1968 in Kassel ) is a German game designer .
After high school and community service , he first studied mathematics and sports for elementary school. He invented a first game back in 1983, but it was never published. Now he concentrated more on the children's play area. His two works, Kunterbunt and Blumenhupfer-Farbentupfer , were successfully marketed by FX Schmid . In the same year, the Adlung company brought out its most successful card game to date, Speed , which has been sold around 500,000 times as the fastest card game in the world , and since 2001 also in Canada and the USA.
In 1995 he and his brother founded their own publishing house, Staupe Spiele , which repeatedly produces small games that have been rejected by large publishers. Reinhard Staupe went to the Berliner Spielkarten publishing house as an editor . In 2001 he switched to Amigo Spiel & Freizeit GmbH , where he was in charge of the game editorial team as product manager. From 2004 to 2011 he was an external employee in the Amigo editorial team. Since 2012 he has been the responsible editor at the Nürnberg Spielkarten Verlag , where he also publishes his own games.
