Reinhard Zinkann junior

Reinhard Christian Zinkann (born September 1, 1959 in Gütersloh ) is a German entrepreneur. He is the great-grandson of the eponymous co-founder Reinhard Zinkann of the traditional German company Miele & Cie KG. In addition to his role as one of the managing directors of Miele & Cie KG, he is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hipp Holding AG.

He is the son of Peter Zinkann (* 1928).

Zinkann graduated from the Salem boarding school. He studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg , at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and at the University of Cologne and graduated with a degree in business administration. In 1988 he received his doctorate. rer. oec. at the Technical University of Berlin with a dissertation on product liability . He gained his first professional experience at BMW AG in Munich , where he was jointly responsible for coordinating the BMW branches.

Zinkann joined Miele in 1992. Since 1999 he has been a managing partner of the Gütersloh household appliance manufacturer. In January 2009 he was selected as "Marketing Man 2008" by the specialist magazine Horizont . As chairman of the Economic Society for Westphalia and Lippe , he received the silver town hall commemorative coin of the city of Münster in October 2011 for his services to the Peace of Westphalia Prize .

Zinkann is divorced and has one son. Since September 1, 2012, he has been married to the Hamburg child and adolescent psychotherapist Amélie von Wallenberg-Pachaly for the second time.
