International Peace of Westphalia Prize

The International Peace Prize of Westphalia has been awarded every two years since 1998, the year of the 350th anniversary of the Peace of Westphalia .

Endowed by the Münster- based Economic Society for Westphalia and Lippe e. V. donated peace prize with 100,000 euros. The prize is awarded on the one hand to personalities or representatives of states and groups who have campaigned for the cohesion of Europe, and on the other hand to young people and youth organizations who have become role models for peace in the world through their actions. Half of the prize money goes to the two winners.
