Reinhart von Gutzeit
Reinhart von Gutzeit (* 1947 in Berlin ) is a German music teacher .
Career
From 1995 to 2004 von Gutzeit was director of the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and, after its conversion to the Anton Bruckner Private University, was its first rector from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to October 2014 he was rector of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
Since 2007 he has been President of the Salzburg Biennale , Chairman of the Association of German Music Schools , Member of the Presidium of the German Music Council and the Presidium of the European Music School Union . He is also chairman of the project advisory board for Jugend musiziert .

- 1997: Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany
- 2006: Gold Medal of Honor of the Province of Upper Austria
- 2019: Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany
