Reinhold Lessmann
Reinhold Leßmann (also: Reinhold Lessmann ; born September 5, 1915 in Hanover ) is a German photographer .
life and work
Born in 1915, Leßmann was able to set up his own business in the middle of World War II : as an entrepreneur, he entered the commercial register on June 7, 1944 under the number HRA 15771 at the Hanover District Court . His atelier Studio 55 Reinhold Leßmann
Even in the post-war period , Leßmann was apparently allowed to pursue his trade with the approval of the British military government : In 1947 he took a photo of the dismantling of the United Aluminum Works (VAW) in Laatzen .
After the currency reform and shortly after the establishment of the Federal Republic of Germany , Leßmann married on June 30, 1949. The Genealogical Handbook of the Aristocracy listed the advertising photographer's seat at Güntherstrasse 43 in the Hanover district of Waldhausen .
Leßmann's recordings, including those of the Lower Saxony Prime Minister Hinrich Wilhelm Kopf in his study from 1951, can be found, for example, in the archive of the German Press Agency (dpa) and in the Hanover Historical Museum .
In 1952 the work The Nude Palette was published by Hofmann in Schorndorf near Stuttgart with illustrations by the Hungarian draftsman Rudolf Járai. Over 50 nudes and drawings .
Together with Edmund Lill , Leßmann provided the photos for the new edition of Doris Reichmann's 1961 book Gymnastik mit den Kleinsten in Frankfurt am Main at Limpert . A textbook of infant gymnastics .
With the texts by Ehrtfried Böhm, Leßmann's illustrated book neue plastik in hannover was published in 1967 by Steinbock-Verlag . Sense of art, patronage, urban aesthetics. An example in the mirror of two decades .
The hobby florist. Comprehensive instructions for classic and modern design with drawings by Betty Kothe-Marxmeier and photos from the Reinhold Lessmann studio appeared in 1982 at Ulmer in Stuttgart.
On December 22, 1983, Reinhold Leßmann deleted the company from the commercial register.
