Reisach is part of the Trausnitz community in the Schwandorf district .

geography

Reisach is located in the middle Upper Palatinate Forest , around 1.5 km northeast of the village of Trausnitz at an altitude of 465 meters and 500 m from the Pfreimd river . Reisach can be reached via the so-called Seestrasse, which leads around the Pfreimd reservoir .

history

In 1280 the Paulsdorfer owned a number of possessions on the Pfreimd, including Reisach. At the end of the 14th century they sold their upper and lower house in Tännesberg with all their possessions to the Palatinate Wittelsbach family. In 1714 Thomas Freiherr von Quentel bought the Trausnitz estate. A list from this period tells of a family in Reisach. The other part of Reisach belongs to the Tännesberg nursing office. A directory from the middle of the 16th century lists 2 properties that belonged to the Leuchtenberg district judge. Around the middle of the 18th century, Reisach belonged to the Leuchtenberg district judge. There were 16 properties and a shepherd's house in Reisach. The branch church Peter and Paul belonged to the parish of Leuchtenberg.

church

The Peter and Paul Catholic Church, which was originally Gothic, was changed in the late 18th century. A retracted three-sided closed choir with barrel vault and a tower with a pyramid roof are located in the church. Like the pulpit, the high altar with two columns and sidewalls comes from the late 18th century.

Tax District and Parish Education

The Kingdom of Bavaria was divided into 15 districts in 1808. These districts were named after rivers based on the French model ( Naabkreis , Regenkreis , Unterdonaukreis , etc.). The districts were divided into district courts. The districts in turn should be divided into individual municipality areas. In 1808 the Vohenstrauß Regional Court was divided into 47 tax districts. One of them was the Großenschwand district with the villages of Reisach, Weinrieth, Großenschwand and the desert Tanzmühle. In the district court Vohenstrauß in 1821 there was the municipality Reisach, consisting of the places Reisach with 27 families and Weinrieth with 8 families. In 1830 the independent municipality of Reisach was dissolved and incorporated into the municipality of Döllnitz with Bernrieth with Tanzmühle and Thonmühle. In 1946 Reisach was reassigned to Trausnitz in the Nabburg district.
