Renata Gabryjelska (born March 7, 1972 in Olsztyn ) is a Polish film actress , screenwriter and director . In the 1990s she took part in beauty contests in Poland and worked internationally as a photo model . She was one of the best-known television stars in Poland in the second half of the 1990s.

Life

In 1993 she became Miss Mazowsza (Warsaw and Mazovia ) and runner-up in the Miss Polonia national beauty contest. In 1994 she signed a model contract with the Paris agency Metropolitan , from which she was used for photo shoots in the magazines / catalogs Cosmopolitan , Madame Figaro , 3Suisses and Molton . In Poland she worked for the fashion designers Anna Brodzińska and Teresa Rosati (* 1946). She was photographed twice for the Polish edition of Playboy (11/99 and 11/2002). Gabryjelska ended her career as a model in 2003. Her acting career began in 1995 with a cast on the side of the singer Paweł Kukiz in the film comedy Girl Guide by Juliusz Machulski . The film won the Gdynia Film Festival that same year . Gabryjelska subsequently had various acting roles in television productions for the Polish channels Polsat and Atomic TV - from 1997 to 2003 in the series Złotopolscy as Ewa Kowalska.

In the 1990s she completed a law degree at the University of Warsaw and a postgraduate degree in marketing at the Szkoła Główna Handlowa w Warszawie . Later she completed a directing training at the Warsaw Film School ( Warszawska Szkoła Filmowa ) and at the Film Directing School ( Mistrzowska Szkoła Reżyserii Filmowej Andrzeja Wajdy ) from Andrzej Wajda . As a director, she makes documentaries and commercials. Gabryjelska is committed to stray animals. Since 2002 she has been married to the entrepreneur and founder of the radio station RMF FM , Stanisław Tyczyński (born January 25, 1958). She has been a member of the jury for the election of the Polish milk queen since June 2014 .
