Press reviews

“Renate Schoof is a woman who knows how to unleash her fantasy life beautifully. No cheap euphoria, but a lot of inner tension, also feelings of unhappiness, the longing to get lost in emptiness, almost in nothing ... But there are also fine love poems here, full of emotion, association, bold and violent ... "

- New Rhineland : 4/2001

“Their language is lucid, the verses are simple, and then again so rich in images that critics rave about“ surrealistic-witty metaphor constructions ”. The clarity that characterizes her work may be due to the fact that Renate Schoof also writes children's books and often reads them in schools. "

- Weser Kurier / Bremer Nachrichten : v. April 22, 2001

“The author has gone through many conditions, professions and worlds. Therefore her verses are not only believable and simple and accurate, they surprise with images that are not already worn: 'Who distributed the goals / and why do we / never arrive'. "

- Wetzlarer Neue Zeitung : v. December 12, 2000

“Her poems, which she says arise like clouds, thrive on the ease with which R. Schoof gives them fragrance and color. The poet counters the danger of the non-committal, the interchangeable through idiosyncratic combined observations and unusual images. "

- ekz - purchasing center for public. Libraries, Reutlingen 2001

“Renate Schoof combines journalistic research with dream elements, is always at eye level with her staff… As a reader, you quickly become familiar with the characters in the fiction, which Renate Schoof carefully develops and looks after. At the same time, she does not lose sight of the social integration of her characters. The author handles her novel staff very fast ... "

- Bulletin Youth & Literature 2/1998

"The young readers clearly appreciate the fact that their books always contain real and reality."

- Cuxhaven news : v. July 16, 1996
