Renate of Roques
Renate von Roques born Renate Ziegert (born March 9, 1912 in Spandau near Berlin , † October 1, 1968 in Berlin) was a German politician ( CDU ).
Renate Ziegert attended the State Elisabeth School Berlin in Berlin-Kreuzberg and a commercial private school . She worked as a correspondent and ran a law firm in Berlin . After the marriage, she worked in her husband 's doctor's office .
After the Second World War , von Roques joined the CDU in 1946 and became a volunteer social worker. In the Berlin election in 1958 she was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which she initially belonged until 1963. In the 1967 election she was re-elected to parliament, but died in October 1968. Her successor in the House of Representatives was then Siegfried Klein .
