René Goguen (born December 15, 1983 in Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada), better known by his ring name René Duprée , is a Canadian wrestler . He is best known for his appearances for the wrestling organization World Wrestling Entertainment . At WWE, he was active for all three roster ( RAW , SmackDown! And ECW ). He currently works for the Japanese wrestling organization HUSTLE.
Goguen is the son of Canadian wrestling promoter Emile Duprée .
Career
WWE
Before Goguen made his debut in WWE in 2003, he was initially active in the Ohio Valley Wrestling development league. From the start of his WWE career, he was a member of the La Résistance tag team with Sylvian Grenier . On June 15, 2003 they won the World Tag Team Championships .
Rob Conway later became the third member of the team. After winning the title, the group had a feud against the Dudley Boyz , to which they also lost their title. From October 2003 to March 2004, only Goguen and Conway were active as Grenier was on an injury break. After Goguen switched to SmackDown , the team broke up. Here he was involved in a feud program with John Cena for the WWE United States Championship . Together with Kenzo Suzuki, Goguen was again allowed to win the WWE Tag Team Championship on September 9th .
