The Resolution 807 of the UN Security Council is a resolution that the United Nations Security Council unanimously decided at its 3174th meeting, on 19 February 1,993th It dealt with the reaffirmation of the existing resolution 743 (1992) and all subsequent relevant resolutions of the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR). The Council noted that the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia remained a threat to international peace and therefore extended UNPROFOR's mandate for a transitional period until March 31, 1993.
The resolution called on all parties and other parties involved to cooperate with UNPROFOR, to comply with the ceasefire obligation and not to deploy their armed forces in the vicinity of UNPROFOR units or in the protected areas of the United Nations (UNPA) . She also called for all parties to respect the freedom of movement of United Nations peacekeeping forces to carry out the necessary operations.
The Council concluded with an appeal to the parties to work with the Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the International Conference on the Former Yugoslavia. She also asked Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali to ensure that Resolution 802 (1993) was implemented quickly , and submitted proposals for strengthening the capacities and extending the mandate for UNPROFOR.
