The Resolution 869 of the UN Security Council is a resolution that the United Nations Security Council unanimously decided at its 3284th meeting, on 30 September 1,993th It reaffirmed Resolution 743 and subsequent resolutions on the United Nations Protection Force and extended the mandate of UNPROFOR for a further 24 hours until October 1, 1993.

The Council reaffirmed its determination to ensure the security of UNPROFOR and its free movement for all of its missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia .
