The Reutiner Bucht is a nature reserve (NSG number 700.60) on Lake Constance in the Bavarian city of Lindau in Germany ( TK 50, sheet 8524) designated by the ordinance of January 29, 2005 of the Schwaben regional council.
location
The approximately 28 hectare nature reserve Reutiner Bucht belongs to the Lake Constance basin (031). It is located east of the Lindau Island and southwest of the Reutin district at an altitude of 395 m above sea level. NN . The area is partly congruent with the FFH area "Bodenseeufer" (8423-301) and the European bird sanctuary (SPA) "Bayerischer Bodensee" (8423-401).
A part of the Lake Constance Trail runs along the northern edge of the protected area : information boards provide visitors with information about the flora and fauna as well as appropriate protective measures.
Protection purpose
According to the Habitats Directive of 1992, the closed reed bed belt , the gravel banks and the shallow water zone of the protected area are of community importance. The main protection purpose is the preservation, development and restoration of the community living here.
Flora and fauna

Among the flora worthy of protection are the following types of plants:
- Candlestick algae
- Bodensee-Schmiele ( Deschampsia litoralis ), a species from the sweet grass family
- Reed ( Phragmites australis ), a species from the sweet grass family
- Water vapor reed ( Glycerietum maximae ), a species from the sweet grass family
fauna
From the worth protecting fauna following species are:
- Bitterling ( Rhodeus amarus ), a fish from the carp family
- Triangular clams
- Bullhead or head ( Cottus gobio ), a fish from the bullhead family ; Fish of the year 1989 and 2006
- Great crested grebe ( Podiceps cristatus ); a species of bird in the grebes family ; Reutin Bay is home to the largest Bavarian breeding colony of the great crested grebe with up to 50 breeding pairs
- Northern pike ( Esox lucius ), a predatory fish from the pike family
- Mute swan ( Cygnus olor ), a representative of the duck birds
- Tufted Duck ( Aythya fuligula ), as well as the
- Pochard ( Aythya ferina ), a species of bird in the duck family
- The reed warbler or "reed sparrow" ( Acrocephalus scirpaceus ), a songbird from the warbler family
