Reutti is a suburb of the municipality of Amstetten in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . Reutti is located south of Amstetten.

history

Reutti was created during the later expansion period . The place was first mentioned in 1108 as Ruttin as part of a donation of goods to the Blaubeuren monastery . Another form of the name is Ritin from 1225. Reutti was initially pledged to Ulm in 1382 by the Counts of Helfenstein and sold in 1396. Reutti belonged to the Lonsee office . Reutti came to Bavaria in 1803 and to Württemberg in 1810 to the Ulm Oberamt (from 1938 district of Ulm ) Ulm. Reutti, which previously belonged to the community of Urspring , became an independent community in 1839. This was incorporated into Amstetten on January 1, 1975 as part of the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg .

In Reutti, a locality within the meaning of the Baden-Württemberg municipal code with its own local council and local mayor has been set up on the territory of the former municipality . It includes the village of Reutti and the Wannenhof homestead.
