Rhymesayers Entertainment is an American hip hop label based in Minneapolis , Minnesota . It was founded in 1995 by Sean Daley ( Slug ), Anthony Davis (Ant), Musab Saad (Musab) and Brent Sayers. It's the biggest hip hop label in Minnesota.
history
In 1999 the label opened the Fifth Element record store in Minneapolis. The store mainly sells independent records, but also commercially successful rap and local musicians. On March 9, 2007, Rhymesayers Entertainment signed a contract with Warner Music Group .
Rhymesayers Entertainment has been organizing the annual Soundset Festival since 2008.
